Flu Vaccinations
This year the practice is offering free flu vaccinations to the following groups:
- Those aged 6 months to under 65 years in clinical risk groups
- Pregnant women
- Those aged 65 years and over
- Carers
- Household contacts of immunocompromised individuals
- Housebound patients
- Those living in long-stay residential care homes or nursing homes
Frontline health and social care staff The practice will not be vaccinating patients between 50-64 without chronic conditions, if you fall into this category, you will be able to get your vaccine at a pharmacy. Housebound patients will be contacted directly by the practice and given a date for their vaccination.
Children who are two and three years of age but not aged four on 31 August 2022 will be sent an invitation, please wait for this before calling to book.
It has not been possible for the practice to offer the covid vaccine at the same time as the flu vaccination, invitations and details of the autumn covid vaccinations will be sent to those eligible separately.
